Neverending Nights

Well, at long last – the break is over. What? It’s BEEN over? Well, first you guys complained that we were pumping out the episodes too fast – and now you whine that we’re taking too long?

We certainly have a fickle set of fans (that’s all four of you out there!)

Well in any case, download Neverending Nights – Episode 38: Mandatory Flashbacks and then let us know what you think on the forum!

In your excitement of downloading, don’t forget the Season 3 Contest.

Ok, I have officially started working on the season 2 DVD. Neverending Nights Season 2: The Season that came in Second. This year’s DVD will be packed with special features, extra content, a audio track, and of course the second season. Preorders for NEN Season 2 will start sometime in February. Keep looking. All four of you.

Next we move onto something huge…. Season 3 will introduce a new character… you! That’s right we are going to hold a contest for a new player in the NEN universe. One that you make, the rules are simple….

1. The character must be made with only the following expansions –
Neverending Nights and the official expansions
The latest version of the CEP (community expansion pack)
2. We must be able to recreate the character in the game, the character must be a humanoid.
3. You must have a backstory, It dosent have to be a novel (Wizard Weatherwax)
4. The character(s) can NOT be directly or indirectly related to either Peter or Grayson (but anyone else is up for fair game!)

That’s it… Now for the prizes!

1. You get a character in Season 3 of NEN. He or She will be a player in the cast. along the same lines as Poppy the salt vendor.
2. You get the only autographed copy of the Season 2 script. This is the script that we all read our lines off during the recording. All of the cast signed the cast page with the exception of Evil Foo. She is dead so exhuming the body was cost prohibitive.

Ok so get to work on your NEN characters… you are allowed to submit only two characters each and we are looking for characters that best embellish the NEN world.

The official submission thread is HERE. Go there. Read it. Now. Don’t ask questions. Just read it. If you still have a question. Still don’t ask. Because we probably don’t have an answer. If you INSIST on asking a question (or more bothersome – QuestionS, as in plural) – do so in the I have a goddam question! thread for the contest.

Now for beyond… well we are still working on that…. Gimme a break!

Feel free to check it out.

Okay, with everything sorted out with the host provider (I really do question some of the changes they made, but whatever…) – we’re now able to successfully upload the videos to our own site. So now, you can grab Episode 37: Crime Does Not Pay right here (by doing a Right Click and Save As…) and it will now download from our site, instead of PirateBooty.net. The episode that had been upload to PirateBooty.net is going to be taken down in mere moments. So once again, get your Neverending Nights – Episode 37: Crime Does Not Paygoodness from right here!

In the Episode 37 thread on the forum mentioned that a portion of the audio was “off.” While I explained how it was supposed to work, I could see your guy’s point. So what did I do? A small tweak. I made a version 2.0/B of the episode. Wait. What? Didn’t I just explain for a whole paragraph above about the episode?! Yes. But I figured, I’d let people get both versions. So if you’d like to see the “tweaked” version – you can download that also from our site! Neverending Nights – Episode 37: Crime Does Not Pay (Version 2B).

I also uploaded it to Youtube… So both versions of the episode are available there as well.

The original is found here while the “revisited” one is here.

Also to make it easy:

Original Episode 37 on Youtube:

Tweaked Version of Episode 37 on Youtube:

Definitely swing by the Episode 37 thread on the forum and let us know which one you liked better (it’s a very small tweak, but can – apparently! – make all the difference in the world!)

And of course, I highly recommend subscribing to our Neverending Nights Youtube Channel.

While this episode has the original Neverending Nights intro back on it – don’t worry – we have not released Travis Richards from our dungeon! He’s still very much our main go to guy for music! And he always will be! (Whether he likes it or not! Or else we don’t feed him anymore!) So definitely swing by Travis’ page and check out all the music for NeN he’s made – and so very much more!

Also remember – Travis threw together a Neverending Nights Soundtrack which you can purchase! All the profit to the soundtrack goes to him, so it would be a GREAT way to support Travis! So by all means, please do purchase the soundtrack!

Also, if you’re new to us – you can check out the Character Profiles and familiarize yourself with the characters of Neverending Nights!

That’s right… at long last, Episode 37 is here. And the worse part – all in all, it’s actually a pretty short episode. Sorry about the delays!

Now – on with the Episode news (because no one really gives a damn about the sob stories that caused the delays!)

The new episode is first available off Youtube, by going here. But why is it on youtube already? That answer is right over here.

Naturally, because we like to make things easy – we’re going to do the streaming version on Youtube here also, in the event you don’t want to go to: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CY_TsMMJQR4…

Also – at the moment there’s an issue (long story) with FTP’ing to our own server here at NeverendingNights.com – so I created a temp folder on PirateBooty.net – in the event you want to download the actual episode (and have a much higher quality than what Youtube offers) – you can download the episode here: Neverending Nights – Episode 37: Crime Doesn’t Pay (Right Click, Save As… 46.2 Megs in size… and about 4.5 minutes long).

Once you have checked out the episode, feel free to comment in the Episode 37 Comment Thread.

Also, naturally – I recommend going to our Neverending Nights Channel on Youtube and subscribing to the channel. Then get your friends and family to do it too. Just because. No. Really. Do it. Now.
