This was intended to be filmed and released just before the end of Season 2, to show that Ellen is resurrected and that Dink’s soul is missing. (If you read Dink’s profile on the website, you know his soul didn’t go into a magical beast, rather a very specific magical weapon). We never got around to voicing these lines for a number of reasons – mostly scheduling conflicts. When the time came, and I started writing Season 3, I kept this just in case we ever wanted to do it later. It never did get recorded – so I figured I’d share with you now. The events in this episode reflect what you will read in the profiles of Albert, Bob, Charlie, Dink and Ellen. Ellen’s return to the goblins, and encountering the new Goblin King was to set up what would have been Season 4, of Peter and Grayson helping the goblins get free of this new ‘goblin king.’ When I decided to end it with Season 3, I smashed a bunch of the story elements from Seasons 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 – and ended up using the storyline of freeing the goblins as the very end of Episode 65 with Peter.

“Welcome Back From The Dead.”
(On screen show: The Events of this episode take place after the death of Evil Foo, and before Andrea and company depart from Blackmire City…)
(Show Ellen standing up inside the Temple)
ELLEN:
Wait – what happened?
ALBERT:
Evil Foo killed you.
ELLEN:
Is this the after life? Am I still dead? Did you three die? Where’s Dink?
BOB:
No, this isn’t the after life. We just paid 300 gold to get you resurrected.
CHARLIE:
Yeah. My 300 gold.
ALBERT:
It was on Evil Foo. We were going to split it three ways. But found out that it was 300 gold for a Resurrection. So we resurrected you.
CHARLIE:
So to answer your question – no, we’re not dead. And you’re not dead. Well, anymore.
ELLEN:
Where’s Dink?
ALBERT:
Evil Foo killed him too.
ELLEN:
Oh, so you’re going to Resurrect him too?
BOB:
We don’t have another 300 gold for another resurrection. And it was hard enough sneaking away for a minute and dragging your body here.
ELLEN:
Wait a minute – so Dink is still dead?
CHARLIE:
Not exactly. We had a few additional coins and managed to bargain with the priest to reincarnate Dink.
ELLEN:
Reincarnate him? What does that mean?
ALBERT:
With a Reincarnation spell, you bring back a dead creature in another body, provided death occurred no more than one week before the casting of the spell and the subject’s soul is free and will to return. Since the dead creature is returning in a new body, all physical ills and afflictions are repaired.
BOB:
Sometimes, however, the spirit of the deceased doesn’t come into a new body; but instead may possess the body of an already living person – causing a form of possession.
CHARLIE:
A character, reincarnated, may not recall any memories of their previous life if they come into a new body; or take possession of an existing body. The only time they can successfully guarantee that the reincarnated person will recall their former life completely is if they are reincarnated or take possession of a body type exactly like their original body. For example, if a dwarf is reincarnated into a new dwarf body, or takes possession of an existing dwarf body.
ALBERT:
However, it is now believed that certain memories can be triggered by phrases or events – that may “jolt” the reincarnated spirit’s memories – if they are not in a duplicate body of their original form.
BOB:
A Wish Spell can restore a reincarnated character to his original form.
ELLEN:
Wait, so do you guys even know where Dink’s spirit has gone?
CHARLIE:
We have our suspicions.
ELLEN:
What does that mean?
ALBERT:
Well the priest told us that he got the impression that since Dink was so drawn to magic that he may have gone to some magical beast.
BOB:
But we’re not entirely certain where this magical beast is at.
ELLEN:
Well, let’s go find Evil Foo and get some revenge.
CHARLIE:
Andrea already took care of that.
ELLEN:
She killed Evil Foo?
ALBERT:
Yes.
ELLEN:
How sweet! She avenged Dink and I.
BOB:
Actually, I think she did it because she likes killing. That’s my guess, anyway.
ELLEN:
We have to go back to Andrea now, then!
CHARLIE:
No, you can’t.
ELLEN:
What do you mean I can’t?
ALBERT:
Look, there’s something big going on here. Something crazy is about to go down with this whole sword thing. There has to be something Andrea isn’t telling us or that Daniel person.
BOB:
She thinks you’re dead. You’re free of her. If Albert, Charlie or me leave – she might have Daniel send that demon thing back home.
CHARLIE:
So it’s up to you to go home and muster up a Goblin Army.
ELLEN:
A goblin army? What are you talking about?
ALBERT:
We think something bad is about to go down. We need to have our people be prepared.
BOB:
Andrea thinks you’re dead, so that means you can go back home – get them ready for the war that’s on the horizon.
ELLEN:
Aren’t you guys being a little over dramatic? You don’t even know for sure if there’s a war on the horizon.
CHARLIE:
Well, next week they’re going to be electing people for Best Digital Actor in a Supporting Role – and we think we have a shot.
ELLEN:
(Hesitant) I, uh, see. Well, then – I guess I will be on my way.
(Show Ellen run off)
ALBERT:
We’re gonna rock the hell out of Season 3.
BOB:
Oh Hell Yeah!
CHARLIE:
It’s gonna kick some major rocks…
