Neverending Nights

… is almost done. I know, you figured this was the message to say it was done. I had it done technically some time last week – but a lot has been going on to keep me side tracked and more focused on other things. Well I watched it today (in its entire 2 hour glory) – and just was not happy with it. So I began to edit and splice it to pieces… I am almost done (I am on the 40 minute mark out of a now, 1 hour and 20 minutes)… but it’s 2am and this little soldier is going to bed. Going to finish it off tomorrow, easily. Then tomorrow night, a meeting over at Adam’s to talk about some stuff going on in our little crazy world!

Heya folks! Looks like the forums are back in working order. (And there was much rejoicing… Yeah!) So feel free to head in there and continue posting. Or if you’re new to the site – feel free to get in there and register – and jump in feet first (shallow minds equals a shallow pool – so we don’t recommend head first) – and begin posting!

In the meantime, head into this thread and give us some feedback on the question presented there.

For a brief time, you will be getting an error when trying to hit the forum. I checked around and found out from the folks of PHPBB.com – that the error is occuring because:

This is nothing to do with phpbb you have hit a webhost imposed limit on the amount of dtatbase queries you are aloud in an hour, you will need to cotact the host about this!

Does that really say that we got 50,000 posts in an hour? Wow…

Well, first – the number one question seems to be “When is Season 2 going to start?” And on that – let me say we will have a better idea a little later this week. We’re working on a few things, have some stuff to hammer out – and depending on how that all goes – we will have a better idea. So look for a better answer to that question a little later this week. Trust me, as eager as you guys might be to see where Peter the Great Hero is going – huh? Oh. Yeah, I guess there’s that Grayson the Fighter chap also – but anyway – as eager as you guys are to see what happens with these two hapless heroes – we’re more than eager to get in there, finish off writing Season 2 (which we’re still powering through!), voice it and film it and get it rolling once more!

Second, the Q&A II: Electric Boogaloo is giving me problems. Well, the computer is anyway. It has a random habit of doing reboots for no reason (usually when there is an intense amount of memory being used or if the hard drive pounding away). As a result, the Q&A was lost in the middle of being imported last night. Going to try again tomorrow.

Third, the DVD is done. The art and concept has been sent to Lindsay Archer (and my payment for her work is going to be made this weekend!). So when she gets that done and back to us – there will be a matter of getting it printed for the DVD covers and then that should be on its way. Fourth, while cruising along and drooling over the images of Neverwinter Nights 2, I ended up compiling a little video I am calling Neverending Nights – Season 2 Teaser – but it’s not so much a teaser for NeN Season 2 as it is – what NeN Season 1 would look like in NWN2’s graphics (and what NeN Season 2 will look like once we port over to NWN2). So if you want to take a look at that, go ahead and right click this link and save it to your precious hard drive.

Fourthly, er, I mean – fourth – The folks of OBSIDIAN did some stuff with IGN. Rather than link you over to IGN’s website – I figured it’d be much easier to simply host the videos here on NeN’s site (for now) – to make it easier. So check out – IGN’s NWN2 Video 1, IGN’s NWN2 Video 2and IGN’s NWN2 Video 3. Take the time and really watch those… and when you do, head over into this thread and share any comments you have – of this newly revealed info!

Fifth, want to discuss the incredible additions of the Neverwinter Nights 1.67 Patch – well so do we! I have posted the additions – and highlighted the ones that interest me the most in red! You can head into the forum and see that over here – so come on in and share your thoughts!

Head over to this page to grab BIOWARE’s latest patch/content addition to NEVERWINTER NIGHTS. The release of this patch sees content that had previously been exclusively to the module “Pirates of the Sword Coast.”

This update sees the release of new creatures – the majority of them “sea based.” As well as some additional tilesets! The new patch also includes a demo module – so you can get a general idea of how to piece things together!

I will be downloading the new patch tonight (if I remember! That memory thing always foils me!) – and if you have downloaded, and want to discuss the content and what not – you can do so on our forum over here.
