Neverending Nights

First, some good news! We laid down the audio track for Episode Six tonight! So now it will be time to splice and edit up the audio! We need to get around to filming Episode 6, which we should be doing next week – with any luck, along with the Christmas SideQuest (yes, we know it’s after Christmas!)

And if you’re wondering why we’re talking about Episode Six, if Episode 3 was just released. Well, we previewed Episode One thru Five (plus a Promo Video) to get feedback (which is why I think the video, editing, writing, and voice acting, have all improved considerably!) So there’s a handful of fans out there who are eagerly awaiting for us to get to Episode Six on release! (Well for those people – there is a light at the end of the tunnel!)

And now, some other cool news!

Episode 3: Come on Baby, Light my Fire is now available for download from the video page! After you download it, feel free to head into the forum and comment!

This Episode … our two heroes, Grayson the Fighter and Peter the Ranger get a map from the now infamous Pawl the Dwarf! As they look at the map and see that it’s not exactly… drawn to scale… our adventurers find that they may be lost… but there’s nothing to fear! Peter the Ranger will use his great skills and save the day! (Grayson’s riding the coat tails to Peter’s greatness!) As a matter of fact, one of our users (aries22) set up a poll on the forum! Head there and see the poll and don’t forget to vote! (We all know that Peter clearly is the better character, so if you have to cast a sympathy vote towards Grayson, it’s more than understood!)

Well, the Christmas Side Quest is obviously late! We have the map all set up for it, but because of the Christmas Holidays, we haven’t had the chance to write it out or film it (obviously since we haven’t even written it!). So I figured I would do something a little special for Neverending Nights fans to snack on – I compiled (and censored) the out takes to Episode One’s reading. I will probably do the same with the other Episodes where there’s an audio out take for it… so look forward to that! For right now though, you can head into the video section of the site and grab the Out Take video for Episode One! Then you can head over to the forum and discuss the out take episode for Episode One!

Just realized that only on this page had we made the links available for Episode One and Two, and that on our video page, it had the old version of Episode One! The old stuff has been taken down, and the final drafts of Episode One and Episode Two are now available on our video page.

Well, Adam and I finished filming the PC GAMER UK Episode Saturday Night… we finished the audio for it Sunday night (first time we did the video before the audio…!)

And per Mark, he asked if it was possible to combine ALL five Episodes into one long movie … I finally finished that!

So Mark now has the PC Gamer UK Episode which intros the first five episodes of Neverending Nights!

The PC Gamer UK Video will not be available for download until it is featured in PC Gamer in the UK which is Jan 22nd. We expect to wait at least one week after the issue is released to release the video for download. But in the meantime, we will probably have an XMAS Side Quest up – probably not in time for XMAS, but probably before the New Year kicks off! So keep an eye out for that!

And for those of you in the UK, keep your eyes peeled for PC GAMER, and feast on almost 20 minutes of Neverending Nights – with 4 minutes of previously unseen Episode! Now that’s some mighty goodness!

Now, my brain has ceased working, and I am going to lay down over here and crash!
