Pandas, Silver Stars and Purple Hearts?

Hello folks! While it’s not a new episode, I know those ladies dig the voice of the guy who does Peter the Ranger. (I suppose they tolerate Grayson the Fighter’s voice – some sacrifices are done for the greater good)! So with that, I’d like to mention that Amanda of Panda Productions asked Adam and I to do a guest spot on her series entitled, Silver Stars, Purple Hearts.

So I welcome you to download Silver Stars, Purple Hearts – 0.3 (It’s about 38 megs, Right Click and Save As…) You can comment on our forum if you would like.

Machinima 2005 Film Festival Q&A.

If you were unable to attend the M2T5 Film Festival, I had managed to record some of the Q&A with several machinima folks on the stage for some Q&A. I had uploaded the file (which was rather large), and just recently Ben someone from Machinima.com contacted me and asked if they could make streaming versions of the video to host on Machinima.com – which, of course, I agreed to because Ben someone has always been very cool over at Machinima.com (not to mention, it would allow me to remove the file and simply link to the streaming versions! Sneaky, am I not?)

So if you would like to download/watch the Lo-Res Version of the 2T5Machinima Film Festival Q&A – Go here.

And if you want the Hi-Res version of the video, you can go here.

Thanks Ben whoever at Machinima.com for this!

PS: You should watch the first five minutes at least. It has a mini NeN intro, and then it has Adam threatening to kick my ass. It’s pretty funny.

Nameless started a thread in our forum regarding this over here.

Happy 2006

OMG it’s 2006!

2005 was a banner year for Neverending Nights. We didn’t finish up the season, we didn’t win any awards, we didn’t complete the DVD… Wait 2005 sucked!

Actually 2005 was a great year for Tom and I. We did get to go to the Machinima 2005 Film Festival in NY where we got to meet some fans and other filmmakers. Chessrook, TMRiddle, Reece, Amanda, Ben, and Paul. We continued to make NEN despite my raging case of Attention Deficit Disorder. 2005 saw the construction of our very own sound booth and we added a 5th computer to the film studio. We introduced some great characters into the series and said goodbye to some others.

However 2005 would of truly sucked if it hadn’t been for you. The people reading this. Our fans.

On New Years night we gathered at Poppy’s (salt vendor) house to watch the new year chime in and we had a special treat. The prototype NEN DVD. That’s right, we have the prototype done. Now I know what your saying, “how can you have a DVD without the last two episodes?” Well I don’t know, But we do. Once the last Episode is finished we will get the audio commentary done and get the DVD finalized. Then we will have the sponsors section on the site up and you can sponsor your favorite website and get Neverending Night’s season one on DVD. We can’t sell the DVD so you get it as your free gift for donating to our bandwidth fund. Details to follow.

2006 looks to be a great year for us here at Neverending Night’s. I hope you stick around to share is with us.

More and More Incredible.

So when Adam and I started Neverending Nights – we never really expected much. We hardly expected it to really go beyond five episodes. Now we’re fast approaching Episode 21, the end of Season One! And it’s been an incredible voyage so far!

We’ve been in PC GAMER UK, Interviewed by Bioware (the makers of Neverwinter Nights, as if you didn’t know that already, right?), we were an official selection of the Machinima 2Thousand5 Film Festival, we’ve opened an online store, found ourselves mentioned on quite a few other sites and forums, found our videos on Machinima.com (the kind folks who also offer Quicktime Streaming versions!), we had a brief appearance in MachiniMag #7, and on and on and on.

But you know what is always very cool to me?

The “fans” of the series. When Adam and I kicked this off – like I said – we didn’t expect to do more than five episodes before losing interest. We never imagined we would have “fans.”

We’ve been blessed enough to have a fan ask for our autograph, and even autographed TMRiddle’s copy of Neverwinter Nights! Nameless, one of the users here (who doesn’t pop in so much) even launched the first ever (and probably ONLY!) Neverending Nights Fan Site! We have also had Derek of OriginalConsole.com made a few cool NeN Wallpapers using his comic sprites, among other pieces of fan art by several others! All of that has been incredible – and I thought I had seen it all! Then, sotc comes along and surprises us by showing off a cool NeN necklace she had made! Talk about cool! I was totally floored!

All seemed quiet in the fan section! Until just about a week ago. A user on our forum, SnafeDarkrold contacted me about a musical piece he had created, inspired by Neverending Nights. Naturally, I was floored to hear this. So when he sent me the piece, I really enjoyed it! I edited the file to include information about himself and NeN – and have uploaded the mp3 of Neverending Nights – Fanfare here! (Right Click, Save As… Less than a meg in size).

So I just wanted to take a quick second and thank you all – whether you have done a piece of fan art, launched a fan site, made a necklace, or made a musical piece – or even if you have done none of that, and you simply enjoy our videos – Thanks!

Now, I will cease my rambling for now and pass out.

A long, long, long thanks! (NeN Related)
