For a very cool NeN fan…
Needless to say, Wizard Weatherwax is one of the coolest NeN fans I have come across! Over on the Bioware forums, it’s always pretty much him whose been replying with solid feedback and comments on the NeN thread! He asks great questions, and makes some great remarks! (Both funny and serious!)

So when he messaged me and asked me for an autograph – needless to say, I was floored. Someone asking for OUR autograph? He was happy with just a scanned copy of our autographs to be sent his way – but being the first autograph – no way was he getting a “scan” – he was getting an original. And on top of that – I wanted to do something extra special. So I took the “Pawl the Dorf Map” that I did in PAINT was back in Episode Three, and printed it on a glossy paper. This is what I had the local cast members sign. And just last night, I got the last one (well, other than Jeremy who has not yet appeared in the series as the vicious Dragon of Ator!)

Now, I am going to send the original off to his home in Portugal – however, knowing snail mail – it may take some time (especially going over seas!) – so I wanted him to see what it looked like (and wanted to let everyone else check this out as well, as I am beaming with pride over this!)

Rather than show the image within the message – I left it as its original size, so that it could clearly be read (which makes the file 698KB). So for anyone who wants to check out the autographed map, simply click here.

To note Mario’s “Everyone Else” – this was because Mario was doing some extra voices for us. So his signature came before he was recruited on as Daniel the Destructive for Season One (ending) and a major player in Season Two!

Well – ran into a glitch with Episode 19. As I was splicing the audio – I came to realize – Andrea’s lines weren’t matching with what Daniel was saying… Something was amiss – although the beginning of the episode seemed fine.

Then it dawned on me. We had the old reading from Andrea for Episode 19. (Originally she was to run into Alan the Astounding – but that got nixed when Chad didn’t have time to record lines – so we rewrote Episode 19 to introduce Daniel – and as a result some of the dialogue is drastically different).

So pardon us – while we hunt down Christi to read Andrea’s new lines. It’s going to be a VERY busy week (with Thanksgiving and all) – but if Christi comes down for Thanksgiving – we could quickly yank her into the studio and do the lines. Which of course means, the soonest Episode 19 is coming out is next weekend.

My apologies about the delay. Both Adam and I thought that we had the new version of Andrea’s lines recorded.

Personally, I blame Adam. He was out boozing it up last night at an Irish Bar until like 2am or something. I dunno how that places the blame on Adam… but work with me. (Technically I should have checked the audio way before hand…)

Neverending Nights – Episode 18: Pepper Flavored? – A mere 18 megs in size – this short episode has our heroes meet an old friend from a previous episode! Also, that old friend apparently knows the location of… The Dragon? Could it be? Are the pieces all falling into place? As we draw closer and closer to Episode 21 – Season One’s big ending – it looks like our heroes are on the right trail after all… And it only cost them like… five gold.

As a side note – there was an assortment of issues with using the original footage Adam had provided me. So most of it is refilmed, and limited to one computer, vs the four we normally use for Adam’s. But I was lazy, impatient, and bored, so I didn’t want to refilm it. So I think filming wise, it’s a weak episode (because it’s done by me, rather than Adam who has a good eye for what makes a good shot – but thankfully, it’s short – so it shouldn’t be too painful).
